Computing and systems design for creative environments are concepts that affect most every member at 2112. Not only are there considerations, similarities and differences, there are unique technology and financial situations facing young companies. This workshop will address current trends, common sense tips, and real project examples with analysis of learned outcomes. There will also be time at the end of the workshop for roundtable discussion where participants will collaborate and gain feedback on their current configurations. Teri Grossheim, 2112 Mentor, will be leading the workshop.
Teri is an experienced, results-oriented technologist, consultant, educator and manager knowledgeable about emerging technologies while possessing business acumen. She has held consultative, technical and business development roles for several organizations as well as management roles in IT, higher education, software/mobile app development, and data analytics/business intelligence firms. Teri is a MBA candidate at DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (concentrating in Management Information Systems) and holds a M.S. in Music Technology from Indiana University. She is also an adjunct faculty member in the Audio Production program at The Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago.
