Melissa is a business consultant who works with entrepreneurs and organizations to navigate change, nurture leadership skills, and get more strategic in their communications. She operates at the intersection of the left brain and right brain to draw the creativity out of business people, and the business out of creative people.
She’s a business builder, corporate leader and brand champion. She’s written, produced and managed creative teams in Chicago, New York, and London. Her background is in the advertising world, specifically post production and music. She’s worked with brands that include Nike, Coca-Cola, PBS, McDonald’s, and Walgreens.
Melissa currently is Director for the Institute for Management Studies Chicago and consults with Chicago label Pravda Music. Melissa is on the Chicago board of Women in Music and is a long standing board member of the Midwest Independent Film Festival. She also works with Step Up as a mentor to teen girls at Schurz High School.
In addition to her 20 year tour of duty in advertising, she holds certifications with the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and is a certified Kolbe Strengths consultant (Kolbe looks at natural strengths and problem-solving instincts).
