Martin Atkins, author, artist, label owner, founder of Pigface, former member of PiL, Killing Joke, and Grammy-winner from his work with Nine Inch Nails, speaks with Gaelynn Lea, the winner of the 2016 NPR Tiny Desk contest and touring artist, about touring, commitment, making the leap and just what it takes to be out on the road.
Gaelynn will also address accessibility in venues, the challenges and triumphs she has experienced, and how to progress the inclusion and visibility of disabled artists throughout the industry. Gaelynn authored the guidelines for making venues accessible in Martin's new book Band:Smart.
